Initial Consultation
Each of our projects starts with an initial consultation. This is a 90 minute consult at your home to discuss as many spaces, issues and ideas as you’d like within the hour. You may find that this hour is perfect for resolving your interior issues, giving you the confidence to move forward on your own. Alternatively, this may be the start of an exciting project we work on together, the consult allowing us to better understand your needs and determine which design service will best suit you.
What You’ll Receive
Once you’ve booked your consultation, we’ll ask you to answer a few questions and send some inspiration photos of what you’re trying to achieve to ensure you get the most out of our meeting
We’ll meet in person at your home and discuss as many spaces, issues and ideas as you’d like within the hour. We can help you define your personal style, talk about budgets and times frames and the scope of work
If appropriate, we’ll bring colour fans, product samples/swatches and do quick measurements. The consult is also a great time for us to explain our design process, answer any questions you may have and ensure we are a good fit for your needs
After the consultation, we’ll email you a summary of our discussion. This may include information such as what size furniture or rugs to purchase for your space(s), colour palette ideas, links to any specific items we have discussed etc.
We will also prepare a Design Proposal specifically tailored to your project should you wish to continue working together. This will outline the design fee, scope of work, project timeline and pay schedule
You’ll receive the email summary and Design Proposal within a week of the consult. We’ll also provide a date and time for a follow up call, allowing you to ask any questions and (if appropriate), book in your project start date!
